On Sunday 16th November, Sinterklaas will visit Amsterdam. Bring a little bag for each child to collect their goodies. Pick a spot, go early to be near the front and prepare to wait around. It can be a lot of fun.
Here is his schedule:
10.30 he travels by steamboat along the Amstel river
12.00 arrives at the Scheepvaartmuseum, where he will be greeted by the Mayor Van der Laan. He will then travels by horse through Amsterdam via Sint Nicolaeskerk on the Prins Henrikkade to Dam Square.
13.30 arrives at Dam Square
14:00 travels via Rokin, Muntplein, Rembrandtplein, Utrechtsestraat
15:00 Weteringcircuit
15.30 arrives Leidseplein and holds a speech from the balcony at the Stadsschouwburg.
